It seems that more and more people these days are opting to move away from the traditional-styled wedding invitations. Wedding invitations today are stylized in such a way that they share with those viewing them a snapshot into the engaged couple's lives.

For this wedding invitation, I quickly learned that the couple loved to attend concerts. They requested that their invitation be similar to a ticket one would receive for a music concert. Having established this key information for their design, we also concluded that the final design should be one that was hip, modern and classy. With that being said, the design process began. I looked a numerous tickets to determine some of the commonalities between them and began working with the colours the client wanted incorporated in the design. Details for their special day were placed under captions on the ticket to indicate time, date, location, and the number of guests attending. The client also had me design a website containing their wedding details and enabled those invited to RSVP online. In the end, the client got a unique wedding invitation that creatively depicted their passion for music and each other.
