This design was created purely spur the moment. My wife had drawn a picture of spiderman in the washroom reading a newspaper and I thought it might make a cute picture for our basement's bathroom. It works perfectly with the room since we have a pop culture Warhol-like motif for that room. To create this image, I simply scanned the image and then imported it to Photoshop where I tweaked the levels to reduce the image to its outlines. I applies a hue and saturation mask to the image and duplicated it repeatedly. After spacing the images out proportionately, I tweaked each masks' colour and adjusted the saturations accordingly. The final result is a picture that definitely captures the attention of those visiting our home.
